florianp said... First of all, they were annoyed that we booked through book me. No one forces you to offer your skydives here for cheaper prices. For New Zealand its definetly a good price for the skydive only. They demand 160 Dollars for pictures and 200 for pics with the video. Thats a general problem with skydive companies. They now they can demand that price because you arent allowed to bring own tech and almost everyone wants pics so they have to pay it. But if I pay the parachutist 200 Dollars to hold a camera I expect mich more enthusiasm. I know they did thousands of skydives but anyway. 200 Dollars and they still treat you like what you are. A costumer. I can only speak for myself and my friends. We are just a small group of thousands backpackers coming through they will never der agian, they dont care about us. And in my case, they will never see me agian. For the video, they filmed it and Talked to us so damn bored. I bet everyone gets the same kind of video and thats why they are so sick of it-even if we pay 200 for it!! The skydive itself was amazing, you cant do too much wrong jumping out of a plane. When we reached the ground he didnot pay any attention to me. Grabbing his parachute and straight going to the base to prepare the next skydive. As I said, you are just one of hundreds. I did not even der him agian and was asked to pay which was okay for me because i wanted to see my Video. I was about to pay when a woman came and said , the video camera was full. WOW. Dont get me wrong all my friends got their video , but agian. 200 Dollars and they dont check the camera. Luckily the photos worked and I even got 270 Pics (usually u get 150-200) but just ~10 are good but that is common. I mentioned that he paid no attention to me at the landing. I have 100 pictures from him sitting in the plane holding the camera in my neck but not a single one of the landing process or the ground. I bet all of you have that typical landing-high-five pic in their mind. I dont even got a high five or a "well done". My friends got that, maybe my guy had a bad day or idk why I had such bad luck. But back to the picitures they still wanted the money for the pictures which I hadnt checked before because you get the usb stick after payment. If I hat the oppertunity, I wouldnt have paid that. As an excuse they offered me to choose a free T-Shirt. But suddenly I was just able to pick one of 4!! Shirts they wanted to get rid of anyway and it was the same Shirt in different colours and none was my size. I asked for my size but the lady looked at me like just take a shirt and get out of here. So, the skydive itself was amazing and s unique expirience. The service was crap. Agian this is just my point of view and maybe it was just bad luck. Thanks anyway for bringing me back to earth:) Ps I left a notice on their board saying the video wasnt working, I bet it didnt survive one day.
