Experience a fun packed adventure in the Far North and escape the crowds in this historic, culturally rich and scenic region of New Zealand.
Escape the crowds and enjoy the delights of the Far North - A subtropical paradise with warm hospitality, rich culture and heritage that is steeped in Maori history.
After our drive north, we explore the Cape Reinga Lighthouse, a New Zealand icon set at the very top of the North Island. Enjoy watching the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean crash into each other. According to Maori mythology, the Cape is the departure point for the spirits of the dead who leap off the headland to begin their journey to their final resting place. Visiting Cape Reinga is an eerie and enchanting and fully memorable experience.
Following on from your spiritual experience at the Cape, you'll hit the sand highway of the famous 90 Mile Beach in the unique dune rider coach. With its beautiful white sand beaches and Aupouri Forest as a stunning backdrop you'll simply fall in love with this subtropical part of New Zealand. Hop off the bus, clamber up the massive sand dunes and boogie board down in an awesome experience that's not to be missed!
After an action packed experience at the sand dunes you will journey onto Ka-Uri Unearthed with its licensed café, huge kauri showroom and world famous Ancient Kauri log staircase.

I had a great time - beautiful scenery, nice guide, really fun riding on the 90-mile beach and though I didn't go sandboarding, you certainly can! then the lovely walk to the lighthouse and a great lunch....watch out for the seagulls though! I left my plate on a table for 30 seconds to get some juice, and they had stolen some of my food right off my plate! Lovely way to spend a day up north.
Fantastic trip, Paulie is an amazing driver, informative and lots of fun. Beautiful scenery on a picture perfect day. The bay we stopped at for a very delicious lunch was a hidden gem. Take this trip for the whole beach experience as this is the only carrier that can take you from the sand dunes all the way down 90 mile beach. Highl6 recommended
