Just 2.5km from Russell you can literally have a true Kiwi experience, in an area where 2 of our most rare native birds can be seen in the wild - Kiwi and North Island Weka.
Explore native New Zealand forest and learn about the creatures that inhabit it. You’ll find wild birds at home, incredible insects and beautiful national plants.
Then sit back and take afternoon tea in your peaceful forest setting.
The Ecology walk is relaxed and suitable for most levels of fitness, groups are small and intimate. Best of all, a donation from every ticket goes directly on our conservation projects.
