Take a walk on the ecology side in the tranquility of lush Bay of Islands Forest.

Explore native New Zealand forest and learn about the creatures that inhabit it. You’ll find wild birds at home, incredible insects and beautiful national plants.

Then sit back and take afternoon tea in your peaceful forest setting.

The Ecology walk is relaxed and suitable for most levels of fitness, groups are small and intimate. Best of all, a donation from every ticket goes directly on our conservation projects.

    Please Note:

  • There is no minimum age, however for safety it is recommended not to carry children.
  • The track has an easy grade and is suitable for most fitness levels but is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
  • Dress for the weather and wear strong footwear (not jandals/thongs/flip-flops).
