Adventure awaits you on the Twin Cycle trail with stunning views and quaint towns this half-day Ebike tour will not disappoint.
Enjoy the stunning beauty and rich history of the Bay of Islands’ Twin Coast Cycle trail from the comfort of an electric Ebike, you will be cruising around without even breaking into a sweat.
Ride with ease as the adjustable power assist gives your legs that extra oomph you need so that you can comfortably ride for hours and up hills with no problem. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop along the way for coffee and a bite to eat in the small communities this trail passes through.
If you’ve ever ridden a bicycle before then you will be able to ride this with ease…although you may not want to go on a conventional bike after discovering the fun of an Ebike! The trail can be broken up into four sections or tackled all at once, 87kms in total, as it winds through rural towns, over bridges and through tunnels on an unused railway line.
This is the perfect way to see New Zealand’s coastline and rural towns in all its unspoiled glory.
Hi, Many thanks for taking the time to give us a review. We look forward to seeing you again sometime in the future.
E bikes rock. First time for us. Trouble free half day rental. Would do it again.
Hi, Many thanks for your review. Your comments are greatly appreciated.
Hired mountain bike for half day for my son. Got out on the trail and e bike did not appear to have any power. Rode bike with battery off for 30km as there was no resistance. Twin Cycles said they would look into it but did not test it while we were there to verify issue. If booking a bike, may pay to test ride first.
Hi, Apologies for my slowness in replying. Many thanks for your feedback, we have changed our procedures to make sure all bikes are tested prior to being hired.

Great ride
We only did the 4 hour one, would love to do the complete trip one day. So much to see. The e bikes are a great choice! I do wish the council would fix the tunnel however, as the route they have made to go up and over seems more dangerous than going through the actual tunnel! Other than that, easy flat ride. Would def do again.
