Boasting 144 islands, stunning crystal clear waters and an abundance of marine life, wildlife, and idyllic beauty - it’s easy to see why the Bay of Islands is renowned as one of the best marine destinations in the world.
Departing the picturesque sea-side town of Paihia, we embark on a full day island hopping adventure, taking you away from the crowds for a relaxed pace and memorable way to see and explore this stunning destination.
We’ll choose from Urupukapuka, Motuarahia, Moturua, Waewaetoria for our island stopover where you’ll have plenty of time to explore, relax, and play!
Once we reach the island you'll be free to enjoy a packed picnic lunch on a secluded Island beach, try one of the short walking trails, or for the water lovers, why not take to the calm waters for snorkeling, paddle boarding, or swimming! Or, if you are wanting to take the day at a slower pace, simply relax on the beachfront and take in the stunning surrounds. It’s up to you!
Our stylish & comfortable catamaran, the Kopiko, has plenty deck space and of room to move around and take in the sights of the bay.
Be sure to keep an eye out for the local marine and wildlife, we often see a range of seabirds, stingrays, seals, and penguins! And there’s a chance that we’ll see dolphins too!
Along the way you’ll learn about the Project Island Song Wildlife Sanctuary, where a portion of your Island Hopper ticket price is donated – it’s an amazing project to be a part of, and you’ll hear how your ticket is helping the cause!
