Well worth it

Good value for money. Mel's knowledge was fantastic and it was great when Fenton started up the cars. Highly recommended.

Packard Motor Museum

I wasn't expecting much but we received a warm welcome and definitely got our money's worth. Our guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and it was a really enjoyable tour with jokes and interesting stories. I thought it was just one shed as that's all you see when you first walk in but the place is huge with so many different types of vehicles along with extra collections from the world war and thought the years. I would highly recommend if you like cars and history in New Zealand. Thank you and especially thank you Fenton.

From Packard Motor Museum - Entry & Guided Tour

Thank you for your review, we are so pleased that you enjoyed the tour. Lots of people think it is a really small place and fail to realise that there are four buildings tucked away here and even a spare one that we are not using at the moment! Fenton is highly knowledgeable and does have some remarkable stories... usually humourous. If you are in this area again come back and see the changes.

.

Really enjoyed the day. Lots to look at. Would have liked to have seen scheduled startup times for machines as I think we missed out on a few. Kids really enjoyed the wee bulldozer/bobcat, that was a highlight.

Thanks for your review, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your visit. You booked for our Start Up day, so were able to see some of the vehicles started around the museum. Thanks for the suggestion, I will pass it on to the management.
