I really enjoyed this tour and Dave our tour guide/driver was lovely. The scenery is incredible and there were so many gorgeous lambs everywhere. I really enjoyed the farm stop too. Being able to pet and feed all the animals was great; they were all so friendly and not scared. I particularly enjoyed stroking the lambs and seeing the alpacas against the backdrop of the snow-capped mountains. Free tea and scones was great too. I only wish there was more time and more photo stops- so maybe I should have taken an all day tour, to feel less rushed.

I wanted to go on the Earnslaw for some time, since it has such a fantastic history. Sadly on the day the weather was pretty rubbish, but it actually didn't effect the trip much. The boat was lovely to experience, and a lot of the farm parts were undercover anyway. On the boat you can look down inside and see some of the mechanisms and the coal going in the fire, which is pretty cool. The sheep-shearing and rounding the sheep up was fun to watch and informative, and even more interesting seeing those around you who have probably never seen this before in their lives. The cream tea (variety of drinks, scones and cakes) was delicious and plentiful! it didn't feel rushed at all and we had time to see all the animals on the farm before the boat returned to pick us up. I highly recommend doing this trip or the lunch/dinner one.
