Explore Queenstown’s world-class trails on this self-guided 40km e-bike ride from Arrowtown back to Queenstown.
Start with a scenic 20-minute shuttle from 43 Camp Street to historic Arrowtown. For free parking, please come to our office at 36/159 Gorge Road 15 minutes before your tour departure time.
In Arrowtown we’ll fit you with a premium Trek or Giant e-bike, give a relaxed briefing, and run you through a custom Going Blue map with all the best route options — from cafés and craft breweries to iconic wineries and hidden photo stops.
Then it’s over to you. Ride at your own pace through vineyards, river gorges, and alpine valleys along the Arrow, Kawarau and Shotover rivers. The electric assist makes climbs easy, even for first-time riders. You’ll finish up lakeside in Queenstown, where you’re free to continue exploring or return your bike to our Gorge Road HQ.

Awesome day out!
Great day, brilliant service... informative, allowed us to change the date (due to poor weather), free car-parking at depot, offered to collect us, super-friendly service, bikes in excellent condition, a handy map - will be back, cheers.

Breathtaking
Quick disclaimer: THE ONLY EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH RIDING A BIKE WAS GOING UP AND DOWN MY STREET EIGHT YEARS AGO LMAO and I didn't know what I was signing up for. I really was learning as I went and yet I still had the best time. The e-bikes were amazing, top quality, & really helped a lot while still pushing me out of my comfort zone (quick tip: just het the e-bikes lmao...hills are few and far in between but they're there and they're a pain when they come). Still have no idea how to turn on tight corners tho lol. We really appreciated the shuttle, the ease of drop off & all the tips given to us <3 I fell a bunch of times, took wrong turns, and had to take a million breaks--but I would still do it all again tomorrow. Thanks Going Blue you guys are theee boommmbbb!

Arrowtown to Queenstown on ebikes
We had a great day. We are not expert cyclists, but the track was awesome, easy to follow and the e-bikes made the cycling a breeze, even the steeper parts. We recommend grabbing brunch in Arrowtown before you leave as on track refreshment opportunities are limited until you get to Altitude Brewery, which is well worth a stop.😊
