Looking for a tasty dinner in a fun and relaxed environment while you’re in Queenstown? Step into another world at The Ballarat Trading Co, Queenstowns original Gastro Pub inspired by an 1850’s trading emporium situated right in central Queenstown! It was designed by award winning designer Tom Skyring and has a unique charm which will top off your delicious meal.
Between 5pm – 8pm you can enjoy a Main Meal and Drink with the choice of selecting from the following tasty options:
Main Meal (choose one):
Braised Pork Ribs (1/2 rack) with a smoky BBQ glaze, fries & coleslaw
250g Wakanui Beef Burger with bacon, cheddar, jalepenos, lettuce, tomato, onion, BBQ sauce, aioli & beer fries
Potato Gnocchi made in house with baby spinach, courgette, peas, feta, pesto & toasted almonds.
Drink (choose one):
Wines- Kopiko Bay Sav, Kopiko Bay Pinot Gris, Kopiko Bay Pinot noir & Kopiko Bay Merlot

Great
Great meal, the breakfast I had wasn’t as good as it was the last time I went so I was comparing the 2, was still delicious though and the service was fantastic and fast! Would go there again for sure regardless! ?

Great food.
In a recent trip to Queenstown for Skiing, I purchased a discount bookme meal (dinner) at Ballarat Restaurant and Bar. This facility is in a central and easy to find location in down town Queenstown. Ambiance of the Restaurant inside is interesting but none the less clean. Our meals were served quickly and were of an outstanding quality, presentation was magnificant and overall the experience was very good. The only downside was the staff were a little too quick to remove food and beverages from table. In fact, my friend had finished his drink and they automatically removed my half finished drink and ran off before i could say anything. So some improvement is needed with staff training. Overall 4/5 stars.
