Charge About Queenstown rent electric-assist mountain bikes of extremely high calibre. Ride off and explore spectacular scenic trails only accessible by bike, in total peace and serenity. Cyclists who are not regular riders have found themselves easily covering 40 to 60km, getting to see so much more of our scenic rivers, lakes, wineries, historic buildings and farmlands, most of which you can't see by road. For these reasons we often have visitors hailing this as "The best thing we did in Queenstown"

Our eBikes from Europe run the smart Bosch system which ride just like a regular bike but with a boost that brings a smile as you power up the hills. Use as much or as little assistance as you wish.

Great fun

Amazing day riding around on our electric mountain bikes. Campbell gave dsome great suggestions and we rode out to some of the most scenic locations where cars can't get to. The bikes them selves were very easy to use and we had great fun riding past all the non electric bike people. Particularly on the step hills.

Great day out

We rented 2 electric bikes from Charge about for the day and had an absolutely great time on them. They allowed us to cover so much more mileage than we would have otherwise and we had a lovely scenic ride along rivers, lakes and the countryside. Bikes were so comfortable and the bikes definitely helped us up all those hills. They handled really well on the Queenstown trails, felt stable and safe. I totally recommend them and Cam was absolutely awesome with communication. Great family day out.

Electric bikes in Queenstown

The booking was easy through book me.co.nz. The service provided by Cameron of eBikes was excellent. He was friendly, on time, explained how to use the bikes thoroughly, gave us a map and suggestions. The bikes were good and we had a memorable experience.

Makes riding enjoyable for a fatty

My hubbie and I are not the fittest or skinniest people and so we were a bit worried about riding a bike in queenstown. But the electric motor made it so much easier ( we still worked up a sweat on some hills) , the scenery is spectacular and we had so much fun! Its a must and we will definitely do it again , next time were in New Zealand ... Sweet as bra!
