Ein Muss..eine Wahnsinnskulisse-leider wenig Tiere
Für den Preis hatten wir uns mehr erwartet. Ein paar seals haben wir gesehen, sonst keinerlei Tiere die si sehr versprochen waren. Hinweise auf Englisch und Chinesisch...volles Schiff aber von jucy nicht von eco tours. Die superschöne Kulisse wurde von dem vollgestopften Schiff eher gemindert. Preis-Leistung ist nicht ok.würde eher doubtful Sound das nächste Mal besuchen.

Für chinesiche Reisegruppen
Die Schiffsfahrten sind speziell für chinesische Reisegruppen konzipiert. Diese Reisenden nehmen keine Rücksicht und stehen einem im Gesichtsfeld und auf den Füßen. Sehr nervig waren auch die ständigen Starts und Landungen von rund einem Dutzend Hubschrauber und Kleinflugzeugen. Unverschämt fanden wir die NZD 30,-, die wir für die 3 Stunden Parken bezahlen mussten. Ich würde das nicht mehr buchen, weil es mit norwegischen Fjordfahrten nicht konkurrieren kann. Eigentlich Abzocke!

Hi Hans, we are sorry you didn't enjoy your trip. Milford Sound is a destination enjoyed by visitors from all over the world. We don't make a distinction on where our customers come from. Everyone is welcome equally. Sometimes we get quite a few people from a particular nationality on one cruise. We have cruises where at times the dominate group are German, other times it is French, or Spanish and sometimes it is Chinese. We welcome all our visitors. And, the majority thoroughly enjoy there experience. Milford Sound is one of 14 New Zealand fiords. They are unique to our location and geography. That is why so many people enjoy their visit. Making a comparison is futile. Most people who have had the opportunity to visit both don't make such comparisons, they enjoy the uniqueness of the locality of the place they are visiting. Guess what, there are fiords on the panhandle of Alaska are these different again and they too are amazing in their own right. Seriously, if you want to visit a Norwegian fiord go to Norway. Das Highlight schlecht hin: ein Muss
Die Landschaft ist toll und der Kapitän bemüht sich sehr, die sehenswerten Stellen zu besuchen und zwar fast "auf Tuchfühlung". Wir hatten den ersten Ausflug gebucht und waren damit sehr zufrieden, als wir wiederkamen, ging es am Schiffsterminal zu wie im Ameisenhaufen. Außerdem ist diese Tour 1/2 h länger :-)

Eindrucksvolle Bootsfahrt
Wir haben das Boot um 9:30 genommen, Ende Februar. Es war nicht überfüllt, man konnte gut Fotos machen. Die Kommentare waren gut zu verstehen und interessant. Zum Parken sind wir auf den kostenlosen Parkplatz am Deepwater Basin. Dort waren wir um ca 8 Uhr, nachdem wir 2h ab Te Anau gebracht hatten. Es waren noch viele Parkplätze da, aber der Parkplatz hat sich schnell gefüllt.
