Thanks for that Denise, hope to see you all again sometime. Del
Del gave a fun, interesting and educational tour. Really easy to relate to and the tour was awesome. Another great highlight of our Queenstown tour. Del is passionately proud of this area. Sorry we ate so many chocolates at Morning tea ?. Great day, great job, great guy. Thanks again. Rich, Emma and Simon (Melbourne, Australia)
Thanks for the kind review, much appreciated. I look forward to taking you both on another adventure some time. Regards Del
Highlight of our holiday so far. This time in NZ we wanted to get off the beaten track. Absolutely amazing! So completely different from the Queenstown side of the mountains. We are coming back in June 2020 to do it all again in the snow. Can't wait. Highly recommended. If you want a tour without sharing in a group this is perfect.
We had a fantastic half day trip. We were lucky with the weather and Del knew all the best vantage points for great photos. Just the two of us plus a very knowledgeable guide meant we learned heaps about the area, the history of both the settlers and gold mining. The old school is beautifully maintained by the Department of Conservation with interesting historic photos. We also enjoyed being shown where movies like Lord of the Rings and a Mission Impossible had scenes shot plus we had lots of great conversation and jokes. Highly recommend.
