Go Orange - Doubtful Sound Cruise

Let Go Orange take you deeper into the unknown, discovering islands, hidden coves and the dramatic landscapes in Fiordland’s spectacular Doubtful Sound...

  • Max capacity 45 passengers vessel with large viewing deck and covered/ uncovered seating
  • Travel by ferry across beautiful Lake Manapouri and enjoy a leisurely 2.5hr cruise of Doubtful Sound
  • Journey over the Wilmot Pass with spectacular photo stops
  • Chance to see native wildlife, such as penguins, dolphins, seals & seabirds
  • Passionate and Knowledgeable guides

Up there with the most stunning sights in the world, Doubtful Sound is one of the most remote places in Fiordland National park.

You'll begin the adventure with a 30km cruise across beautiful Lake Manapouri before crossing the Southern Alps via the spectacular 22km drive over the Wilmot Pass Road into Deep Cove, Doubtful Sound, stopping at all our favourite photo stops along the way.

With small group sizes, there is plenty of viewing space to take in the rugged mountains, dense sub-tropical rainforests, waterfalls, glacier-shaped valleys and the pristine waterways of Fiordland. Wildlife, such as penguins, dolphins, seals & seabirds are often sighted during the cruise and offer privileged photo opportunities.

Doubtful Sound will leave you speechless yet award you with encapsulating memories for life. No other inhabitants, just you, your fellow adventurers and the sound of silence.

The adventure into Doubtful is essential, we invite you to delve deeper and Go Beyond with us.

Enjoyable day with Go Orange

Tony our guide for the day was very knowledgeable and interesting. The weather was kind to us. We would recomend this whole day tour which includes a cruise on the beautiful remote Doubtful Sound.

Breathtaking. Wonderful crew. Great information.

Breathtaking views. Great staff. We learned so much and had a great time. Unlimited tea and coffee to keep us warm and a small group of visitors to converse and make friends with. :)
