Doubtful Sound is commonly referred to as "the sound of silence" and now is the time to immerse yourself in its sweet serenity.

Our epic 3-hour kayaking experience is unlike any other, bound to give you ultimate bragging rights amongst your friends.

Longer, deeper and bigger than Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound is here to rival the masses. The mountains are just as high, the cliffs are steep, the waterfalls are powerful and the views are even MORE SPECTACULAR (in our humble opinion of course). We are sometimes at a loss for words of how to adequately describe the raw, majestic beauty of this Fiord, so come and let us lead the way.

Kayaking gives you a whole new perspective to this immensely stunning corner of the world and we aim to challenge the ordinary and leave you with memories that are unsurpassable.

We challenge you to delve deeper, go further than the average experience and Go beyond with us.

Kayaking Doubtful Sound

From start to finish, we were impressed with Go Orange. They are well organized and focused on safety. Equipment and clothing was top notch. And the destination is incredible; hope to do the trip again some day!

Amazing experience, wild and peaceful.

It was a very nice experience ! The team is always looking after what you need to be sure that you will enjoy your day trip. They are so calm and not stressful at all. They provided everything you need to be sure that you will have a great experience. We were into the wild, surrounded by nature, fjord, and we didn’t have any rain : so lucky ! Thanks for this experience. A must do in a lifetime. We would recommend this to anyone, even if you’ve never done kayaking before :)

Friendly staff but disappointing experience

Our kayak trip was cancelled due to weather once we were already out at the Sound (had already taken the first boat and bus ride). So they said instead of the kayak we'd do a hike and a cruise on the Sound. The "hike" was a 20 min walk on a road and then back. They didn't get us on the soonest cruise (maybe it was full) so the cruise ended up with us getting back about 2 hours later than scheduled and we were never really given an option about any of it. And even though the cruise is cheaper than the kayak trip, there was no refund. Cruise was nice, you get to see the full length of the sound, and staff were great but the experience definitely didn't live up to my expectations of the day or the cost paid for the kayak trip.
