On this Ride to the Vines tour, you will cycle on a powerful e-bike that gives you an opportunity to ride faster and further. Thanks to the help of the bike, you will be able to spend most of your energy spotting interesting places and enjoying the local scenery along the way.
First, you will visit the historic gold mining village of Arrowtown, and ride along the Arrow and Kawarau rivers. Crossing suspension bridges you will also visit the oldest bungy jumping bridge. Then the Gibbston Valley will welcome you with views of extensive vineyards as far as the eye can see.
At the boutique winery you will have a personalised wine tasting and an artisan local plater. With your knowledgeable guide you will learn about the wine making process and tips of choosing wine in future.

Wonderful kiwi experience
Our family were looking for a balance of adventure and relaxation and we certainly found it with the Ride to the Vines guided tour. Our hosts were extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. Both of them went out of there way to ensure we had a fantastic day. We loved this trip and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to spend a day seeing the sights of Arrowtown and the Gibbston Valley.

Autumn ride
Good Friday ride posed some challenges with many wineries closed however the day was perfect, sun shining, no wind, great company, e-bikes to play with and finished with great wine and food.
