Our Via Ferrata system is very safe and allows anyone with moderate fitness to scale heights that are usually only accessible to experienced rock climbers.
With over 300 vertical meters of varying degrees of difficulty, there is a perfect route to scale and conquer, regardless of your ability level.
Our expert guides will equip you with safety gear and give you some instructions on how to use the system. Once you are feeling confident and comfortable, you can set off on this epic adventure.
Feel the exhilaration whilst climbing cliffs carved out by giant 1000m deep glaciers and also experiencing the magnificent views over the town and Lake Wakatipu.

Please note: We provide a very personalised guiding service in small groups. Spaces are limited, so please book ahead to avoid any disappointment. While no previous climbing experience is required, you’ll need a good head for heights and have moderate fitness – and suitable footwear is a must.

Trips depart at 9.15am & 1.30pm.

A REAL challenge!
An extreme physical and mental challenge. I had to pick the bunggy jumpy and the climbing and I am glad I chose the climbing of via ferrata. I found very safe and exhausting at the end of the climb. It was more than what I had expected!

Awesome!
The instructor has full of knowledge about the activity and NZ’s nature. The way of lead us was quite accurate so we could enjoy whole journeys without any problems!

Fun experience with a great guide!

Fun morning!
Great for beginners but you do need to be fairly fit to do this! It was a great introduction to the experience of rock climbing on a safe via ferreta rail system.
