This fantastic tour gives you exclusive access to Mount Earnslaw Station, a 130-year-old working farm at the head of Lake Wakatipu, surrounded by the stunning alpine views of the Paradise Valley!
You will have first hand insight into the real country life and operations in this remote and stunning region.
View the famous LOTR and Hobbit movie locations with walking options to secluded vantage points for the picture-perfect photograph.
We also 4WD across farmland to Lake Reid where Black Swans, Paradise ducks and trout live year round.
You will also have the option of visiting an operational woolshed where in season 1500 sheep are shorn in a day!
Next we visit the spectacular Diamond Lake! With views across the lake to Mt Chaos, Cosmos and Pluto’s peaks, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to capture jaw-dropping photographs, or simply relax and soak in the gorgeous showcase of New Zealand’s natural beauty.
We Continue on through the Paradise Valley, passing Arcadia Homestead and view LOTR Isengard & Lothlorian Forest movie locations in the distance.
Last but certainly not least we make a visit to the history Glenorchy Village, a quaint and charming village set among New Zealand’s favourite alpine paradise.
