Our half day kayak tour is perfect for those seeking a bit of fun and exhilaration mixed into their scenic explorations.

No experience is needed, as your friendly guide will give you a run down on river safety, technique, and let you in on the must see spots!

Test your skills as the river twists and turns, through playful rapids of the Upper Clutha.

You’ll be surrounded by the breathtaking Wanaka scenery and experience the most spectacular sights as you cruise this mighty and majestic river.

A fun and unforgettable adventure - just be prepared to get a little wet and have a bit of a giggle!

 

Departure times: 9am & 2pm

Location: Wanaka Lake Front, Opposite the corner of Dungarvon & Ardmore Street, Lake Wanaka

Great fun and beautifully scenery

Great fun activity. You get all you need from the company right down to shoes. Our guide Taylor really made everyone feel safe and comfortable while giving everyone all the info we could want about the river, kayaking, safety and even geology

Great fun

Really enjoyable morning kayaking gently down the river. The rapids were calmer than I expected but still fun. The back support and knee straps made the kayaks really comfortable, and there was no need to paddle between rapids, so it was probably less strenuous than kayaking on the lake.

The rapids were very gentle and guides very helpful and laid back. The scenery and clear water were beautiful.
