Kinross is the destination for Central Otago Wine. Kinross represents five world-class Central Otago wineries, unlike most vineyards that only sell their wine. Alongside our Wine Partners - Hawkshead, High Garden, Valli, and Wild Irishman - we invite you to explore our world of wine.
Gibbston is home to some of the most awarded Pinot Noir winemakers and wineries in the world, and Kinross represents some of those wines in our tastings. Kinross Wine Experiences have been carefully curated to immerse you in the Central Otago Wine-Loving community.
The Classic Tasting Experience:
At the Kinross Cellar door, In 40 min, you’ll taste and explore a range of rare and exclusive wines not found on supermarket shelves..Our internationally trained wine advisors will tell stories of the people behind the wine.
After the tasting experience at the Kinross Cellar Door, you can relax in our Bistro, which showcases delicious local wine and food. The kitchen is open from 11am - 4:30pm.

It’s wonderful to hear your group had an excellent morning with us—we're glad the stories and tastings hit the mark. Love that you made a beeline back to the Cellar Door for the Valli Late Harvest Riesling! It’s a bit of a hidden delight, and definitely a treat for those with a sweet spot for dessert wines. Kinross Wine Tasting
Excellent experience this morning for our group of 8 people. We all learnt things we didn't know and enjoyed the information and stories offered. Great variety of tastings. Went and had a glass of Valli Late Harvest Riesling at the Bistro and promptly returned to the Cellar Door to purchase a bottle. It was one they didn't have on their wine tasting programme but if you love a sweet wine or are partial to dessert wines you have to try this!!
