Step off Queenstown's Main Town Pier and onto a big yellow KJet boat for an unforgettable Jet boating experience...
Leave downtown Queenstown in your wake as you power into the channels of two of New Zealand's most scenic waterways; The Kawarau & Shotover rivers!
Skimming over the pure waters of Lake Wakatipu taking in stunning views of the Remarkables Mountain range, we follow the beautiful willow lined Kawarau River, before pursuing the shallower waters and fast-moving braids of the famous Shotover River.
In the shallow waters the Jetboat comes into its own travelling at speeds up to 95 km/ph often in water less than 5cm deep! Your experienced driver will skillfully negotiate the narrow braids, and tight turns of the river while making plenty of time for the exhilarating 360 spins that Jet boats are renowned for.
Covering a full 45 kilometres you get to experience the fantastic diversity of Queenstown's waterways, take in glimpses of local life from the homes lining the lakeshore, as well as stunning views all along the way including river gardens and great views of the Remarkables Mountain Range.
Driven by 60 years of passion, KJet is locally owned and operated and proud of its heritage as the world's first commercial Jet boat operation.

Our jet had abit of a technical issue, but..... I aint complaining!! we got to offload by the water and take in the scenery. They even made up for it and extended our jet ride!!! Defs do this. Staff were beautiful. Thank you.
Phenomenal
Ben , our driver took us on an exciting ride with lots of turns and full circles . It was so much fun . Make sure you have a beanie as it can be really cold in the winter but so worth it .
This was a great activity for my two boys aged 6 and 5 and myself. Kept them awake for sure ! Wear jackets. Choice fun.

Amazing time with Kjet. A lot of fun. A very experienced driver,I felt safe during the high speed ride. Opportunities to take photos along the route was great. Safety was paramount. Highly recommend the Kjet ride.
