Wakeboard in one of New Zealand’s most breathtaking scenic destinations - Lake Wanaka!
We’ll head out over Wanaka’s pristine waters out into Roy’s Bay and up to Ruby Island for a truly unforgettable wakeboard lesson surrounded by some of the world’s most renowned alpine scenery.
This 1 hour wakeboard session is perfect for all experience levels, whether you’re an absolute beginner or a seasoned pro looking to sharpen up on your skills!
A unique and exhilarating way to escape the hustle and the bustle of the crowds and experience the jaw-dropping beauty of Wanaka.
A fun, adrenaline pumping and visually stunning experience that is sure to be remembered for a lifetime!
Location - Wanaka Mariner Boat Ramp, Lakeside Road (5 mins walk round to the right of Wanaka lakefront)
If the booking is for only one person please inform Wake Wanaka prior to your session.
Meet - 10 mins before your session. Look out for the bright yellow boat.
My dog Kula (a friendly Labrador) will most likely be on the boat as well, if this is an issue then please contact me.
All equipment is provided so all you need to bring along is a towel, swimming costume (there are no changing facilities on the boat, but there are toilets located at the boat ramp), suncream and any food or drink you may want out on the boat.

Nice view and worth it
My wife and I joined 1 hour wakeboard and we enjoyed it so much. They provide wetsuit and towels because the water is cold even in summer. The coach instruction was clear and he was excellent. Highly recommended! If you are afraid of cold, make sure don’t get class in the early morning or in cloudy day.

Very enjoyable activity in Wanaka
We booked as a couple wakeboarding via bookme the evening before and followed up with a confirmation phone call. We met Seb and Kula his chocolate lab on the lake pier the morning of the next day. It should be obvious but that's the meeting point. We found Seb very friendly and knowledgeable. We took turns on the wakeboard and Seb gave us good pointers and encouragement after the many falls it was needed! Wakeboarding wasn't for the both of us but we are both in agreement it was a great experience to try and would recommend the company.

Great session on the lake!
Had a really fun time on the lake with Seb. He did a great job giving me tips for improving my riding as well as finding smooth water out on the lake. Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience
First time wakeboarding and Seb was great at guiding me through the steps and helping me to get on to the water as fast as possible. Very patient and has many great tips to help you out. 100% worth a go!
