A local’s favourite set within the heart of Queenstown, this Restaurant and Bar is big on hospitality, small on price and goes large with the portion sizes.

You’ll be in for a fun, relaxed and unpretentious night in the Lone Star which has a quirky cowboy theme running throughout with local art and memorabilia adorning the walls.

No visit to NZ is complete without having experienced the Legendary Lone Star.

 

Choose any one of these 3 Classic Pork or Beef favourites:

 

  • MAVERICK FILLET: Premium aged Angus beef fillet. Pan-sealed & oven-baked. Served with a herbed potato bake, sautéed mushrooms & spinach. Finished with a blue cheese melt & a beef and red wine jus.

  • LASSOO OF HOG: 450grams of rolled pork loin with a prune, carrot & seeded mustard stuffing. Oven-roasted with crackling & finished with a fresh apple & ginger sauce. Served with buffalo chips and the L.S coleslaw........ ‘A Lone Star legend!’

  • REDNECK RIBS™ (ONE DOZEN): Porky Pig’s ribs blanched in honey & spices. Blasted in the Lone Star fire, piled high then smothered in our famous hoisin, orange & sesame seed sauce. Served with buffalo chips & L.S. coleslaw.

    Important Please Note: Deals booked are non refundable but can be transferred (only to be used in the Queenstown branch of Lonestar). This Restaurant offers a grace period of 15 minutes, outside of this late arrivals will forfeit their booking with no refund due. Any exceptions to this are at the sole discretion of Bookme and the restaurant.

    Exceeded expectations

    The meal was cowboy sized - possibly too large as we couldn't finish it all. That said the meal itself was beautifully cooked - both steak and pork were tender and melt in the mouth. We would make a point of dining here again due to the quality of the meals, the atmosphere, easy location and friendly staff.

    Soooooooooo good, we ordered the rolled pork meal, was definitely one of the best meals we have ever eaten!! Tender soft meat with great flavours and then crispy crackle... Im drooling just thinking about it. The desert was good too:) thank you Lone start for a great experience! Service eas great too! Absolutely 10 out of 10!
