Milford Sound Coach + Cruise + Food Tour - JUCY Vista

Join us for an unforgettable journey to Milford Sound.

Traveling by luxury glass roof coach the journey to Milford Sound is thoroughly enjoyable.

Travel south along the shores of Lake Wakatipu below The Remarkables mountain range. The views across Lake Wakatipu to the Eyre Mountains are spectacular. Passing Kingston at the foot of the lake the journey continues on into southern rural heartland.

As we pass deer, cattle and sheep farming the landscape begins to change again nearing Te Anau and the granite mountains of Fiordland National Park.

After a refreshment stop in Te Anau we embark on what is one of New Zealand's most stunning scenic drives along the Milford highway, through the Eglington Valley and into Fiordland National Park.

Numerous stops are made for photos and short nature walks, encountering native wildlife, stunning natural rain forest, and glacier carved Alpine vistas.

Arriving in Milford Sound you depart on an amazing scenic cruise aboard our modern catamaran, the Maiden of Milford, taking you the full length of the fiord to the Tasman Sea and back.

Take in the natural grandeur of the fiord, encountering majestic waterfalls and rare wildlife. Milford Sound is home to a vast array of interesting wildlife & birdlife including penguins, seals, and dolphins, which often put on a show playing in the bow wave of the boat.

  • Luxury coach with glass roof and forward viewing camera ensuring you get the best of the stunning scenery.

    Great trip

Had a great day in not the best weather. It was like a journey to another planet. Excellent driving and commentary from Laura Vincent. Only comment would be the too stops particularly the Alpine Centre where everything was sold out.....

    Awesome trip

Awesome trip, the company/driver will to their best to make it as memorable as possible. Limited time long day so stops are bit hurtied at some times but understandable why. Would recommend to get the buffet lunch or even if you have a time pack your own or bring something you would enjoy, we got the rolls/burritos and they were just Okey.

    Beautiful scenery, a bit touristy

Positives: scenery, nice/safe driver Negatives: stops on way a bit touristy (i.e. Everyone get out and walk around for 10 minutes) and since all the tour buses stop at the same places around the same times, it wasn't very peaceful. It is also a long drive. What would I do differently?: (A) spend one night by the sound, drive myself; (B) take the helicopter back (Disclaimer: I generally hate group tours, so if you like them, you will probably love this trip!)

    Best experience ever

The place itself is a very special place. But when you have a fantastic driver of the coach, who explains everything that you may experience on the way, the background the history, then it makes all the difference. Our drover was Nathan, and I just want to highlight his professionalism, patience and knowledge, which is exemplary behaviour. Thank you Jucy, drivers like Nathan make you shine :-)
