    Almost excellent

A great day out with brilliant scenery and wildlife. Would recommend. Tour guide helpful but very heavy on the fishing advice which of no interest. Buffet lunch described as gourmet. It was ok but hardly gourmet.

Even in rain this is the best trip ever

Was an awesome trip, the coach driver was amazing esp with his local knowledge and how he converses things. He made the trip, usually I have my headphones in but the whole way he kept me entertained with the stories and experiences he had to tell.

    Milfordsounds trip

We got of to a shacky start we were running for the bus and couldn't find it at the wharf and the left with out is so we had to pay $35 to get a taxi to Frankston which was a bit of an inconvenience as they were doing a second pick up at the meillinum hotel, I understand the bus needs to leave on time but the guy on the phone said they are waiting when they had left. Bit disappointing!! But over all the bus tour was great I really liked Lou our bus driver was fabulous she was very organised and clear with instructions. The best part was her knowledge of the surrounding area and her beautiful story telling voice that was very calming in the crazy weather we indured along the way. Thank you.

Long day with some great views

Asked for pickup from hotel or nearby but was told no, so we paid $30 for taxi from Frankton to Queenstown center only to find that once we boarded the tour bus we had to go back to Frankton to pick up other passengers so this gave us a sour start to the day. Didn't get back to Queenstown until 8pm so be prepared for a late dinner. It was a large part of the day on the bus but there were plenty of stops for photos along the way except there were 2 other tour companies with full buses stopping at every stop we did so there was some competition for photo spots and a line for toilets. Milford Sound is nice but it's a long day for an hour cruise. Our driver, Russel, was great.

    Great sceneries, enjoyable journey

The brand new glass-roofed coach was cool! And great sceneries along the road! Our driver Lu (apologies if this is not the correct spelling) gave commentaries on the Maori myth and some other information on the sceneries, plus we stopped several times to take photos, all these made the 5h drive quite enjoyable! Milford Sound was stunning in a sunny day, but it might be better to go to the nature cruise to avoid people (many tourist groups tend to book the scenic cruise, thus hard to find a table for dinner and longer waiting for toilets and photo opportunities), but the tour on the whole was great!
