Milford coach and cruise

We all had a great time. The driver was exceptional both his driving, the commentary with his wealth of knowledge and humour. Enjoyed the picnic lunch and the crew on the cruise. All made this trip an experience of a life time to a most beautiful place one will ever see. Thankyou Southern Discoveries

I will be back ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Prepare to be stunned! I will definitely be encouraging my next visitors to join me on this epic trip. The bus we travelled in was a glass top bus which allowed us to really experience the stunning scenery we were surrounded with. The commentary on the boat was full of interesting information as well as entertaining with humerous antidotes. The picnic style lunch was more than adequate. All in all this trip was well worth the money we paid. I'd advise anyone coming down this way to jump aboard for a very enjoyable day!

Wonderful experience highly recommended.

Wonderful experience. Our driver Gabe is funny, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They are on time and though the day is long the scenery is worth it. There are enough stops to stretch your legs, get coffee/ snacks and go to the restroom. Milford Sound is wonderful rain or shine. Staff are friendly and helpful. The picnic lunch is substantial, chicken roll, biscuit, chocolate, chips, apple and orange. Free coffee and tea on board. There is also food and drink on board. Highly recommend.

Long day but good experience

This was our second time to Milford Sound. Coach journey was intelligent choice as roads are extremely winding and dangerous. Very scenic journey if no rain. Our bus driver was a local. He was knowledgeable but speaks less. The boat was very large and modern. Food was very good (they said everything is halal when pork was also served !!). Not many water falls noted due to summer and no rain. Only thing I can ask to improve- bus becomes very hot due to glass roof (didn't see any need for glass roof!); some window curtain may help. It was a long day -almost 14 hours.

Average

Bus experience was A+, the cruise on the other hand was a good experience but the buffet experience was 0/10. Instructed to sit at a table, went there and 5 minutes later some Chinese tourists come and start yelling saying itโ€™s reserved for them. We told them we got told to sit only on the left, they proceeded to call one of the staff which then said go sit somewhere else, my fianceโ€™ and I were not taken to a seat, instead we had to sit apart for the duration of the buffet.
