    Great buffet

I didn't expect for buffet at all but it was much better than what I expected. Beef, lamb, dumplings, crispy fish and nice ice cream! The tour guide are nice and experienced. We take a lots of photos there.

    Nice day

I had a nice day with VIP Ilford who took mefrom Te Anau to Lilfors sound. We had few stop over during over way, they our cruising experience started. Very ship with 4floors, you can be outside on the top or.stay warm inside and enjoy your cruising having your delicious lunch inside. Nice waterfalls and wild animals if you are lucky. On the way back few more stopovers and then they drop you off at from of your house. Luxury :-)

    Definitely worth the trip

We booked Milford VIP because the road was closed a few times due to heavy snow a few days before so didn't want to risk damage to our campervan. The tour driver/guide, Dave was fantastic. Lived in Te anau his whole life so as a retired gentleman he has a lot of knowledge. Good stops along the way but not too many. The cruise was good and the food was better than I thought it would be although it was a menu geared towards Chinese tourists as most customers on the boat were Chinese. We got good weather for the day which makes it better and saw the tiny penguins which is something I've never seen in the wild before. All in all it was worth the money and was a must see place. It's beautiful.

    Beautiful but very touristic

I booked a the day before for the next day around 7pm. The bus would pick us up in front of our hostel at 8am in the morning. Before 7:45 I saw through the window a small bus but without even slowing down. At 7:55, we waited outside in front of the inn. After a while without seeing this famous bus I called the agency. The person on the phone explained that the bus had already passed. I explain to her that on the site of reservation, it was indicated 8am and not earlier. And I ask her why the driver did not even try to call me. And especially he did not even look to wait 30 seconds in front of the hostel. They should improve communication on the website, especially about the schedules

    Perfection!

Amazing experience, the guide was so lovely and being a local with vast knowledge of the area he showed us amazing spots and shared the history of the region. I've been twice before by myself and it was totally worth going with VIP Milford to get a even better experience of Milford Sound. Delicious lunch, fabulous day. Cannot recommend enough!
