Great experience

Experienced an earthquake the day before sunriser trip but they still proceed on with kayaking. Very experienced guides and warm hospitality. Would definitely try again in the future.

Fantastic Milford Sound experience!

I had a wonderful morning splashing around on Milford Sound, away from all the crowds. Our guide Sparrow (tweet, tweet!) was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. One of the best things I’ve done in New Zealand.

Awesome Experience!

The guides were very knowledgeable and engaging. We had a great time kayaking and the views were awesome. Just two things to give feedback on: 1) It’s not within their control but the presence of sandflies was a bit extreme. 2) Perhaps some light refreshments could be provided (E.g. Energy drink) once we got ashore after the whole kayaking. Otherwise kudos to the company! Our guide, Brandon, was awesome!

From Milford Sound Sea Kayak - The Sunriser Classic

Thanks for your review Muhammad - glad you had a great trip! Thanks for the feedback - we'll take it on board :) yes unfortunately the sandflies are the boss around here!

Great views

Really good service, but my partner had some issues with leaks in the provided rain gear, so she got quite cold toward the end. The guides were very nice and provided all the information we needed. We were, however, told to bring a lot of clothing that was provided on site, which felt like unnecessary packing, but that didn’t take away from the experience. Unfortunately, the tour was not the full 5,5 hours (including the information and getting the gear in the advertised time), but 45-60 min shorter, which feels like a lot. The extra time was the deciding factor for us, choosing roscoe’s over orange, and unfortunately I don’t feel that we got the extra time that we paid for.
