Meet our friendly horses and saddle up for a trek across our working farm to the beautiful Moke lake, located just 20 minutes from central Queenstown.
Our relatively flat ride trail is set beneath high rugged mountains, through fresh water rivers leading us to the shores of Moke Lake - a picturesque lake often missed by the tourist crowds.
All riders will get up close and personal to the farm animals such as the Merino sheep, Angus cattle, Paradise ducks and local birdlife making the experience even more surreal.
We cross many slow moving fresh water rivers and streams before reaching Moke Lake where you will be blown away by its beauty - especially on a clear day.
This ride is perfect for beginners and families with younger children, our well trained horses and experienced guides will look after each and every rider to make them feel safe and comfortable along the way.
All of our horses are fitted with soft freeform endurance style saddles providing a comfortable ride for both the rider and the horse. So come along and explore the farm and Moke Lake for yourself!

정말 좋았습니다
너무 좋았습니다 픽업차량을 타고 퀸즈타운 시티에서15분정도 가면 moke lake가 나오는데 가는길도 예뻤고 호수는 더 아름다웠습니다 한팀에 4명정도 같이 이동을하는데 라이딩 경험이없어도 충분히 즐겁게 라이딩했습니다 한시간 삼십분이 일분삼십초 같은 황홀한 시간이였습니다 퀸즈타운에서 꼭 하셔야되는 엑티비티입니다 ! Thanks Julia and DJ :)

퀸즈타운에서 무료 픽업해주고, 15분정도 차를 타고 가면 아름다운 호수와 멋진풍경들을 볼수 있어요~! 친절한 가이드 설명으로 말 타는 법을 금방 익힌후 바로 Lake Moke 를 말을타며 즐겼습니다. 영어를 모르는 60대 엄마도 쉽게 배우고 말을 잘 타셨어요 . 가이드들, 말 모두다 친절했습니다:) 행복한 시간이였습니다.

Such a cool experience
We had such a great time on the Ben Lomond horse trek on our Honeymoon. The scenery is breathtaking and our guide was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Bad experience
The guide walking behind was not attentive, my saddle opened and I fell down. Inspite of my telling her that I'm tilting towards my right side, she didn't get down to check and I fell badly on my back. I sprained my neck and I'm in bed. My entire trip got spoilt just because of her negligence. They didn't handle the situation well. I would not recommend Ben lemons horse trek to anyone.

Hi Aditi, sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience. We would have appreciated if you could have told us when you returned that you were in pain so that we could have helped further but you stated that you were all okay and refused any assistance. The saddles can't open and the girths are checked multiple times before the trek starts. As stated in the safety demonstration, it is your responsibility to keep your self centered and balanced and if you do not keep your balance, the saddle can at times slide to the side despite the saddle and girth being fitted appropriately and safely. We wish you a speedy recovery.

제주도에서 잠깐 말을 타 본 적은 있지만 1시간30분 이상 타 본 적은 처음 이네요. 주위 경치와 이색적인 경험 때문에 시간도 금방 가고 전혀 지루하지 않았습니다. 퀸스타운에서 픽업 서비스도 해 주고 사전 설명과 주의사항도 군더더기 없이 깔끔합니다. 여성 몇 분이 운영하는 거 같고요. 퀸스타운 오실 일 있으면 꼭 하셔야 하는 가성비 최고 액티비티 입니다. 제 말 이름은 BOOM, 저희 팀 가이드는 잉글랜드에서 온 Ellie 였습니다. 퀸스타운 왔는데 차가 없으신 분 꼭 해 보세요. Thank BOOM and Ellie!
