Great trip worth doing

We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. The boat was comfortable and uncrowded when we went at 9am - the lake tends to be calmer in the mornings. There was complimentary tea and coffee which was very welcome and Kyle and Pavla were friendly and informative. The walk to the top is definitely worth it and seeing the inquisitive Buff Weka was the icing on the cake. Lovely way to spend a morning.

Perfect way to spend the morning

We decided to do this trip on the recommendation of someone else that had been to the island. Both Adam and Anna our hosts for the trip were superb and made sure that everyone was well taken care off. The island itself was beautiful with the lake within the island and the scenery as a whole for the journey was stunning. We highly recommend this trip to anyone staying in Wanaka and there is reasonably priced beer and wine for the return trip. Highlight was being able to make the viewpoint for the stunning vista of the lake and the friendly Weka birds that joined us.
