This experience is a must-do for all golfers and thrill seekers alike. Your professional pilot and guide will take you from central Queenstown up to one of the most scenic par 3 golf holes in the world - only accessibly by helicopter. This unbelievable golf hole is located 4500ft high in the Southern Alps, overlooking Queenstown, Wakatipu Basin and surrounds.

Once you reach the top of the range, choose from multiple different tee boxes scattered around the landscape at different heights and distances from the green, with the furtherest being 270 meters from the hole.

From there, take your swing (or a few) and follow your ball down to the green for a putt. Once you've sunk your putt, the helicopter will relocate to pick you up and fly back down to base. Play the video above for a sneak peak covered by Skysport at the New Zealand Open!

Pickups are flexible - Over The Top Helicopters offers pickups by helicopter from local golf courses. Make this your '19th' hole after a round at Jacks Point for example. In these cases, please get in touch with the tour operator.

If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the bad weather, safety concerns, unscheduled maintenance etc) you will be entitled to a full refund.

If you’re into golf then this is a once in a lifetime experience. Great service from Catherine in the office and Dave our pilot. Pity our golf wasn’t that good but hey definitely worth the experience! Just try not to pick a windy day!
