Get into the great outdoors for an overnight adventure in a backcountry hut with spectacular views over the Southern Alps.
Fancy taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city? Want to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature?
This is your chance to experience a peaceful night of being "off-grid", up a mountain with unrivalled views of Mt Aspiring in the Southern Alps.
A 6km walk will bring you from our base up to your accommodation for the evening - The Bob Lee Hut, you will want to bring your camera and be ready at sunset and sunrise for an incredible sight!
The hut features a cosy fireplace with firewood, sleeps up to 7 people, a gas cooker and basic cooking utensils, solar lighting and an outdoor long-drop toilet. There is no mains electricity or running water - however, there is Vodafone mobile reception.
For exclusive hut bookings during summer, (booking all the 7 beds) a vehicle may be allowed to be driven up to bring your groups supplies up to the hut but access for vehicles cannot be relied upon as this is weather/conditions dependant. Please be prepared to walk the 6km from our base.
If your booking is cancelled due to the weather - we will try to find an alternate date or provide a full refund.
For customer cancellations:
If a booking is cancelled more than 3 weeks prior - 100% refund
If a booking is cancelled between 1-3 weeks - 50% refund
If a booking is cancelled less than 1 week prior - no refund
