Escape the hustle and bustle of busy Queenstown to enjoy our breathtaking kayak experience surrounded by stunning rural scenery and mountains.

Just a quick 30-minute drive from Queenstown and you will be transported to the serene and tranquil Moke Lake where you paddle around at your own pace taking in the incredible views.

On clear days, Lake Moke is famous for transforming into a mirror of the surrounding mountains, a truly remarkable sight.

First time kayaking or using a SUP? No problem! Before setting out on the water, we'll give you a quick safety briefing and run down on how to use the kayak/SUP. We'll make sure you are comfortable and confident before you take off on your paddle!

Once you return to shore we will have some kiwi refreshments ready for you to enjoy.

Child $89.00 (Aged 8-14 years)

What's included

  • SUPS or Kayaks, Paddles & Pumps
  • Life jackets (Your Personal Flotation Device PFD – must be worn at all times)
  • Waterproof splash tops/jackets
  • Safety briefing & map

Duration

  • 3-3.5 hours total with 2 hours paddling time.

Location

  • If booking transport: Please meet at 1 Mile Creek Carpark (130 Lake Esplanade, Queenstown) 30 minutes before activity.

    If self driving: Please meet at the Moke Lake campground (Moke Lake Road, Ben Lomond) at least 15 minutes prior to activity.

Restrictions

  • Minimum age: 8
  • You must be able to swim.

    If English is not your first language no problem, but you MUST be able to understand our safety briefing.

Child Friendly

  • This experience welcomes families with children.

Notes

  • A minimum 2 people required to confirm trips.

    Trips are suitable for experienced or first time kayakers.

    Return transport from Queenstown is available to purchase through checkout - $30 per person.

    Please note if self driving: Moke lake is along a gravel road and is approximately 30 minutes from Queenstown. There is no cell phone signal on this drive.
