Our Scandinavian-inspired cocktail lounge is built from almost 30 tonnes of hand-carved, glass-like ice architecture. We will keep you cosy in our luxe winter coats and quench your thirst with our carefully curated cocktail menu.
Conveniently located next to the iconic Skyline Gondola, our spectacular ice sculptures change every few months thanks to multiple blocks of ice, chainsaws, chisels, and one exceptionally gifted ice carver.

Something to remember
I had a great experience at the Ice Bar! I originally had my booking at 5 pm, but unfortunately couldn’t make it on time. I called at the last minute to let them know, and the staff member who answered was incredibly kind and understanding. He helped reschedule my booking to a later time on the same day, which I really appreciated. The experience itself was truly unique and memorable. Almost everything inside — from the walls to the furniture and decorations — was made entirely of ice, except for the ceiling and the floor. It created such a cool (literally!) and different atmosphere that you don’t get to experience every day. We were also given a complimentary cocktail, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. Overall, it was a fun, well-managed, and one-of-a-kind place to visit. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for something different!

Perfect to do and get courage to go on the Gondola. The staff were super friendly and our cocktail was tasty.

Best bartenders in queenstown
Honestly the bartenders were absolutely amazing such good customer service . And such a good vibe , they will even take photos for you they made the whole experience just that much more special and amazing i had the best night in queenstown all thanks to the ice bar its such a must do
