Rail Trail Active - Overnight
Experience the unspoiled landscapes and rich goldmining history of the Central Otago Rail Trail. A once in a lifetime 3 day journey by bike.
Following an old railway line through remote regions the trail takes you on a 150km cycling adventure through some of New Zealand's most stunning landscapes, and rich gold mining history. Ride through narrow gorges, over rustic wooden bridges and viaducts, across farmland, and through historic tunnels carved through the solid schist rock. The gradient is mainly flat and gentle allowing you to keep your own pace.
Tour Includes:
- Two nights accommodation along the trail (Lodges & Cabins)
- Breakfast & Dinner - Kiwi BBQ style fresh NZ meats & salads to your liking.
- Transfers to and from your accommodation
- Bikes, safety gear including helmets, windproof jackets etc
- Experienced & knowledgeable guides
- Support van & driver to transfer luggage, & meet as required
