The day begins with a 7-minute rollercoaster helicopter ride over the stunningly beautiful Skippers Canyon, famous for it's exciting cliff edges and gold mining history. This is a world famous canyon, jam-packed with relics, workings and incredible stories of gold discovery. It is an incredible sightseeing experience, the ULTIMATE way to travel to Deep Creek to start your rafting adventure.
Next, meet your river guide before beginning your whitewater rafting journey through the spectacular canyon. You will be kitted out with all the gear you need and receive an extensive safety briefing so you know exactly how to handle the exhilarating rapids. Rafting from Deep Creek over peaceful waters at first, you'll move towards the adrenalin pumping rapids of the lower canyon. You’ll get to paddle Aftershock, Squeeze, Toilet, Oh Sh*t, Pinball and Jaws to name a few. Raft the 170m Oxenbridge Tunnel before shooting Cascade Rapid to round off your adventure. Before returning to Queenstown, you'll get to enjoy a hot shower at Rafting Base.
