Join Southern Lakes Heli Ski for the ultimate day out riding untouched powder in New Zealand's Southern Alps.

Highlights

  • The ultimate New Zealand skiing and snowboarding experience
  • Tailor made heli ski package
  • Delicious mountain buffet lunch

With the most exclusive access in the Southern Lakes Region to over 5,000 square kilometres of skiable terrain spread over several mountain ranges we find the best conditions on the day. From beginner to expert Southern Lakes heli ski has the terrain and options to suit.

The ultimate New Zealand skiing and snowboarding experience begins with a pick up from your Queestown or Wanaka accommodation to transfer you and your gear to the departure point. Here a full safety briefing is undergone before the excitement really begins!

Weather it's your first time in a helicopter or you're a seasoned flyer the thrill as our professional pilots navigate the rugged alpine landscape is truly exhilarating. Negotiating jagged peaks and snow-covered ridgelines the B2 Squirrel Helicopters come into their own as the ultimate snow seekers toy.

Dropping you on a remote mountaintop the helicopter soon disappears to the pick up below, leaving you alone with your guide and group in the serenity of the alpine wilderness. Setting off on a fresh untouched slope the action really begins!

Endless mountains and pristine untouched terrain is waiting to give you the ultimate New Zealand skiing and snowboarding experience.

With options to suit varied levels of riding ability Heli Skiing is a must do experience while in Queenstown this winter. If you can handle the blue runs you can heli ski.
