See the stunning Milky Way, learn new constellations and learn to navigate using the Southern Cross.
If viewing conditions are not suitable outside then you will experience A Journey of the Night Sky where you can sit back and relax with a drink and a snack, in the comfort of Skyline’s Theatre.
Professional Stargazing Guides will wow you with interesting and entertaining information about space and the tours will cover the exact same information whether indoor or outdoor.
Please arrive at the bottom of the Gondola 30 minutes before your tour starts so you are able to meet your guide 15 minutes before your departure time.
Please allow 2 hours for your Stargazing experience, including Gondola transit time.
Outdoor tours: Canadian Goose Down jackets are supplied

최고의 경험이었어요!
밀키웨이라니! 난생처음 은하수를 보고, 심지어 다른 은하인 마젤란도 봤어요. 움직이는 별들인 인공위성도 10~20개 볼 수 있었고, 친절하고 쉬운 설명으로 재미있게 밤하늘을 즐길 수 있었어요. 다만, 별사진을 찍는 거라기 보다는 그냥 별을 잘 즐기기 위한 거였던 것 같아요. 별사진을 찍고 싶은 분이라면 테카포 호수에 가야겠네요.

Great time
We had our evening rained out, so we sat in a warm room with a digital sky instead. The staff were lovely, we got food and drinks, and it was really interesting learning all of the stuff.

Waste of money
Extremely dissapointing. Extraordinarily expensive for what you get. May as well just look up at the stars yourself and save your money. The telescopes are rubbish! I looked through better quality telescopes at my grade 4 excursion and many others. The “experience” is rubbishhhh and I was so dissapointed as I love space and stars. Ripped off.

A little let down
Unfortunately our star gazing was cancelled due to the weather, this of course was the risk we ran and while disappointing this was in no way the reason I rated this as disappointing. There was always the risk this adventure was not going to pan out due to circumstances out of anyone's control. What I was surprised at however was the lack of communication and lack of options available at the skyline after 8pm. On night 1 we went up to skyline in the late afternoon expecting to be able to partake in the luge and dinner (both of which we did and greatly enjoyed) before spending some time in the gift shop to get us to our time; however everything shuts at 8 so we than had 90 mins to kill with nothing to do. Given people are around I would think at least there would be an open shop or something to allow people to explore more. On the second night it was clear that we would not be able to star gaze due to weather very early on in the day (constant heavy rain; we however had to travel up to the skyline at 9:30 at night to be told the event wasn't happening to enable a change in date or refund to be processed.

Perpect! 정말 유익한시간이었어요
별보러 테카포, 마운트쿡도 갔었는데 날씨가 안좋아서 결국 실패. 퀸스타운은 도심이라 별 기대없이 갔었는데 하늘이 정말 깨끗해서 많은걸 볼수있었습니다! 스태프도 넘나친절했어요 I really enjoyed the tour even the cold weather! Thank you for Tom, our guider, who gave lots of informations to us :) ニュージーランド一周の中で一番楽しかったですツアーでした。天気が良ければいろんな星などを見られます！
