This was a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed just kicking back and relaxing in the hot springs. Weather was perfect and the team working there were lovely...
As the titles suggest the name is misleading to many international travellers. These pools are not natural hot springs. Nor are they heated by hot springs. These hot pools were excellent value, and we enjoyed our stay especially the all-day re-entry policy. The staff were all very helpful with any enquiry we had.
I was a bit disappointed that the hotpools were not hotter. There was also no clocks in the saunas. The temperture gauge in the steam room was wrong in F and celcius. We were advised by people next to us not to use the cold plunge as there was sgnificant Hair in it. Yukk
We were forced to pay extra money, as quoted we were late as per scheduled (Which I totally not aware that it has been scheduled). With that condition, we might as well purchase ticket right at the entrance rather than pro-booked and prepaid.

Best day for the family
We absolutely loved our visit to Tekapo springs - was a fun day for the whole family! Nice hot pools for the adults to relax in, but not too hot that the kids couldn't join us, floating rings for the kids to use - and the water play pool was fun for both adults and children alike! One of my favourite features was the family changing rooms which made it so much easier for you to get changed together, especially when you have little ones! The grounds were pristine, and a nice cafe to enjoy food and drink when you got pekish! I woul.100% rate going there again!
