What’s in store?
You will be picked up from your Te Anau accommodation in our luxury 18 seater Mercedes coach. Sit back and relax with a small tour group, less people means more time to stop at the stunning sights along the Milford Road.
The main stops include Eglinton Valley, Monkey Creek, Homer Tunnel, and The Chasm. Your driver will also stop at some of the hidden gems only a local driver would know about!
As you head over the divide and descend into Milford you will be rewarded with your first sighting of Mitre Peak and the magnificent Milford Sound.
You’ll be dropped at the terminal entrance and invited to join your 2 hour Nature Cruise with Mitre Peak Cruises. Skipping the queues is always a win!
Keeping with the small group theme, Mitre Peak offers an amazing experience on a small vessel and will guarantee not to be overcrowded!
With 2 viewing decks, inside seating and complimentary tea and coffee, you’ll have everything you need to enjoy this fully guided once in a lifetime cruise.
Feeling hungry? Pre-purchase a $19.00 picnic lunch to enjoy onboard as you watch this prehistoric world go by.
Tip of the Day: Live in the moment but have your camera ready for wildlife sightings and quick dips under thunderous waterfalls!

Bon moment à Milford
J'ai passé une très agréable journée avec VIP Milford, j'ai eu la chance d'avoir un temps ensoleillé fin mai, le bus vient nous prendre devant l'hôtel, il est confortable et le conducteur fait des commentaires intéressants ainsi que de fréquents arrêts aux points d'intérêt, permettant de prendre des photos. Le bateau du tour 'Nature' est un grand marinier, qui nous permet d'avoir une vue exceptionnelle de l'intérieur ou de l'extérieur. On profite ainsi des paysages magnifiques.

Awesome experience
Prompt pick up by friendly, knowledgeable and experienced guide. The mini van was in great condition and very comfortable. The guide made a few stops, pointing out places, plants, geographical facts along the way and gave plenty of photo opportunities. The cruise on Milford Sound was fabulous. We were met by friendly staff, they gave a great tour. The boat was clean and spacious. After the cruise the mini van was waiting and we enjoyed another good journey home. Definitely recommend this trip!

Perfect day in Milford Sound
Beautiful day in Milford Sound! The journey with Stephen in the coach was friendly, safely and very interesting. Once in the boat (very nice boat), we spent time on all the decks to enjoy the views and inside during lunch time. We learnt a lot with the nature guide during 2h. I high recommend VIP Milford! Thank you guys! Clement
