pollyanna said... On holiday, my partner and I decided to indulge........so we arrived hot n hungry keen to try a diverse cross section of the menu... We originally ordered 4 Entrees to share including the Fresh Cerviche with Mango Sauce, which was without doubt THE BEST raw fish dish I have ever had ! A mouthwatering mix of flavours, yet not overpowering.....The Softshell Crab was light and crispy with a wonderful swirl of Puree for dipping ! The Mussel Dumplings were steamed to perfection and a healthy size ! But without doubt, the highlight was the Scallops.............OMG sooooo good with an acompanying puree/sauce of pure heaven !! So good we scoffed them before taking a photo lol ! Mains were the Fish of the Day, Snapper with Crispy Skin pan cooked to perfection. My partner had the Eye Fillet with Mushrooms and Onion Compote..... cooked Medium Rare to perfection !! Accompanied with 2 more Entrees we just had to try, being the Caramel Soy Prawns which exceeded all flavour expectations YUM and the Octopus with Paua, and Kina puree sauce.................an unusual combination, but WOW did it work !!! We then let ourselves be talked into Dessert,(trust me, it wasnt difficult ) and it was so worth it ! Handcrafted Chocolate Mousse and Berry Sauces like no other we have ever had !! All accompanied by FABULOUS SERVICE ! PS: The Toilet Doors were fancy too 😉
