The service at reception upon check-in was great. Also in the bar and restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. However, the dining area was absolutely freezing and many guests including myself were eating in coats and scarves. I was informed by staff members that they totally agreed with me and that, they were also cold. This issue had been previously brought up. I raised this with the management . The hotel room which I booked was advertised as deluxe which I feel is overrated. They are of a good standard but not luxurious. There was very little sound proofing and I was able to hear my neighbours talking and taking a shower. The hotel in general is quite dated which shows in a number of areas. Part of the package deal was a 20% discount off food and beverages. Upon check out this was not applied which I noticed. The receptionist was sure that this was not part of the Book Me deal. I advised her to check the website. She confirmed that I was correct and that the staff were not informed and that no discount had been applied to previous customers. On a more positive note the quality of the food and drinks was excellent.
