April CHAPLIN said... If you're tossing up between Milford and Doubtful Sounds, do Doubtful. It's isolated, dead quiet, stunningly beautiful and you probably won't have to share the water with anyone. Our guide, "Nacho", was friendly, helpful, extremely knowledgeable on the history, flora, fauna and Maori particulars of the area. My only criticism would be how Go Orange describe this tour: if you're booking to see seals, dolphins and other sea mammals you'll be disappointed. We saw a few birds but nothing else, which seems to be how it is for 90% of the year. Thank you to Nacho and Go Orange for a memorable Sea Kayak tour.
