I don't really agree with the loud presentation going on during the viewing (kiwis need dark and quiet) , however, it was special for me and my boys all the same. Early morning is possibly responsible for the up close foraging. The park is a good size, you must be reasonably mobile though as it is hills and potential slips. The conservation show was delightful, presenter was knowledgeable and passionate. We saw a tuatara up close!
