Prisa said... day trip to milford sound, it will takes a whole day and you won't be able to do other activity, unless dinner. The bus is good, our driver give lots of information about New Zealand and what bouts. Lunch is good, a bit crowded but the option is plenty and we don't running out of it. Whole trip feels a bit rushed, especially in several photo stop. Also the cruise trip is short, for the amount of time you spend on the road for this, you'll hope you will stay longer at milford sound, to enjoy the view and such. But the weather is good and we can see sea lions. The waterfall experience is priceless! Luckily we got the discounted price so it worth.
