Milford Sound is a popular tourist location and going there in 40 min is a luxury. More importantly, flying in a Cessna is a privilege. This was a windy day but our pilot, Aaron, made us feel very safe. The plane was a beauty and for us, flying was the best part of this experience. In Milford Sound, we cruised with Mitre Peak cruises. This was a smaller size of ship for smaller amount of people. This way, when we took pictures, we did not people covering half of the frame. Also we were able to get into waterfalls, take close ups of seals. My only suggestion to a potential client would be to book an afternoon trip. We booked a morning trip because it was the cheapest option. But I think a lot of places would look much better in the afternoon sun.
