The scenery was absolutely stunning — dramatic mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and viewpoints that truly showcase the best of the Southern Alps. Doug made the experience truly memorable. He was incredibly friendly and generous in sharing his own local experiences and para-gliding stories. He took great care of our kids, making sure they were comfortable and engaged throughout, which we really appreciated as a family. He also thoughtfully altered the tour to suit our family’s interests, skipping the winery stop as it wasn’t our thing, and adjusting the route and timing due to the weather (it was so windy at Wishbone!) so we still had the best possible experience. We were well looked after the entire time. If there’s an opportunity next time, we’d absolutely love to try fly fishing with Doug — a pity that we had to skip due to weather! But as what Doug said, "wait 5 mins!" Highly recommended — this was a genuine highlight of our trip.
