We had a great day on the milford sounds tour. The coach was fabulous and had great facilities, the bus driver did a great job at trying to keep the extremely long trip entertaining.
The downfall for us was the lack of communication. The tour emailed us the day before to say it was departing earlier but the frustration of this was it was late anyway and we were so worried we had read the email wrong but didnt have the international roaming to check emails at the bus stop. The lunch options weren't explained properly. we were told we had two food options but werent told it had to be prebooked prior to getting on the cruise which was frustrating. Then the cruise company said we HAD to pre-buy the food which we did in a panic but later learnt there were some food options on board. We also felt a little lost working out where to be and what to do. Direction was quite vague and we felt lost. However dont let this discourage you from booking this tour its fabulous! this is more constructive criticism on ways the company can improve the experience.
