The Milford Sound destination itself was amazing, but the overall transport experience was very disappointing. The bus boarding process in Queenstown and at the cruise terminal was chaotic, poorly organized, and confusing, with a lack of clear guidance and coordination.
The coach was also a major concern, especially for such a long 8–10 hour journey. The seating was extremely cramped, and when passengers in front reclined their seats, there was almost no legroom left, making the journey very uncomfortable. The coach setup did not seem suitable for a full-day tour.
There was also too much commentary and too many instructions during the trip, while the key operational information was not communicated clearly enough. Better organization, clearer communication, and a more comfortable coach with adequate legroom are needed to improve the overall passenger experience.
