However according to their website in the event of overcast skies, we would be given an indoor experience using state of the art virtual reality and a high definition projector to feature full colour satellite images of deep space. The virtual reality experience was mediocre at best and the the projector was in no way high definition. The presentation was of the equivalent of a high school science lesson about the planets and not about the stars and wasn’t interesting at all. I don’t remember seeing any satellite images of deep space. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend at all. You can see the stars from anywhere at Lake Tekapo. Best to do it yourself
