I had no idea what to expect, and braced myself for something potentially basic and cheesy... but I was pleasantly surprised/impressed with the whole operation. The 'time travel' component was admittedly a little cheesy, but all things considered, it was well done -- provided a lot of information in an accessible/interesting format. I especially loved being able to then watch fish and eels through the windows just below the lake's surface.
I'd suggest this as a great way to start a visit to Queenstown -- give some context to your stay! (It also happens to be super affordable and quick, and the folks working there seem to all be lovely.)
